Schedule of Events & Location:

All events except the service of Holy Eucharist will be held in the Colhoun Room, 3rd Floor, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 520 Summit St., Winston-Salem, NC.

Friday, November 4

Noon-1:00 pm: Registration check-in, exhibits & bookstore open, pre-ordered boxed lunches available
1:00-1:45 pm: Call to Order and Business Session I
1:45-2:00 pm: ECW Archivist/Historian - Lynn Hoke
2:00-2:30 pm: Break - exhibits and bookstore open
2:30-3:30 pm: Session I: Keynote address by The Rev. Kathryn M. (Kammy) Young, Director of Contextual Education and Lecturer in Contextual Theology, The School of Theology, Sewanee: The University of the South
3:30-3:45 pm: Break
3:45-4:10 pm: Convocation Meetings
4:10 pm: Break - Move to the main sanctuary, 3rd Floor via the covered walkway
4:30-6:00 pm: Holy Eucharist with the Rt. Rev. Anne Hodges-Copple, Bishop Pro Tempore
6:00 pm: * Return to The Hawthorne Inn & Conference Center for dinner *
Before dinner Friday evening, may we suggest:

  • Enjoy a beverage in the bar area, which individuals may purchase.

  • Mingle in the foyer and area near the office.

  • Mingle in the area outside of the banquet hall.

7:00 pm: Dinner and entertainment (RSVP required)


Saturday, November 5

Check out of hotel before returning to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for Morning Prayer

8:30-9:00 am: Complimentary continental breakfast for commuters at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church
9:00 am: Morning Prayer - St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Chapel - 3rd Floor
9:30-10:15 am: Call to Order and Business Session II
10:15-10:30 am:  ECW National President, Lisa Towle
10:30-10:45 am: Break - exhibits and bookstore open
10:45-11:45 am: Session II: The Rev. Kathryn M. (Kammy) Young
11:45-12:15 pm: Closing: What we’ve learned
12:15 pm: Blessing and adjournment
